Do you ever have those periods of your life that just seem to disappear in front of you? Yeah, well, that was the entirety of 2024. All of the second year of uni was a complete blur! The last time I managed to get out a personal blog post was August 2023, when I was preparing to enter 2nd year, but before that nightmare began, I moved into a new flat, started a new job and met Steven Wilson, one of my favourite musicians! I didn't take many photos after that. I was on one uni project after another and barely had the time to slow down.

During the first semester, we headed to Barry to shoot the cliff edge scenes for 'The Path'; it was a horribly cold day, and we had endless issues with the camera kit.

While trying my hand as a Supporting Artist in a short film, I met Connor, who later invited me to shoot a documentary on the Doctor Who 5" action figure range! I was super excited to be a part of this project, but I'll get around to writing a post on that sometime in the near future! Though it did provide the chance to take the portrait of Katy Manning, one of my favourite classic Who companions! She was an absolute joy to work with; I hope I get the privilege again.

The latter half of 2024 was just as hectic as the first! I had a promotion at work, which meant I got shipped off to Nottingham for some training at the Roast House. I took the opportunity also to spend some time back home in Sheffield, and took a few snaps on 35mm there too!
