Early last month, Ally and I decided to take a trip down to Penarth. I had never been there before, so it was nice to get out and explore a new town. To be honest, I hadn't realised how close it was to Cardiff. It was a really lovely trip, exploring together and seeing how we both interpreted similar subjects and places and what elements we were both drawn to. There are some pictures here that I absolutely adore, the abandoned house through the fence in particular - there's just something so eerie about it! I started on FP4 before switching to Portra 400, though if I were to visit again, I would definitely stick to B&W as I feel it lends itself better to the town's overall atmosphere.
