I have done a fair bit of travelling this past month, heading back home to Sheffield, then visiting Rotherham and Leeds, then back to Cardiff for the start of the new term at university. Now I've moved away, I'm starting to see my local area in a different light. It's a strange unfamiliarity that comes in when you leave home. You sort of know and remember everything, yet often things aren't quite how you remember. So, going back, it was easier to notice things that I would have walked past before.
The photos from Leeds were really fun to take. I was a lot more adventurous than I usually am, doing street stuff.
A lot of the photos from Cardiff were taken after pulling an all-nighter for a uni assignment. There was no point trying to sleep yet, so at 07:00 I wandered into the city centre and did some mooching, venturing down streets that I had yet to explore.
